Basic approach
Our group's business activities depend on the earth's resources, and we recognize that countermeasures against environmental problems such as air pollution and soil pollution are important issues. In order to build a sustainable, recycling-oriented society, we will continue to work to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing and reduce pollutant emissions.
Promotion system
ESG Promotion Office of artience Co., Ltd. takes the lead in reducing the impact on the atmosphere and taking measures to prevent soil and groundwater pollution at domestic and overseas business sites, including production bases and affiliated companies.
Achievements
In order to reduce air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), and soot and dust generated from combustion equipment such as boilers, our group is working to reduce air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), and soot that are generated from combustion equipment such as boilers. We have been promoting appropriate management of combustion conditions. As a result, SOx and soot emissions are decreasing year by year.
At our overseas affiliates, emissions of NOx, SOx, and soot increased compared to the previous year.

Scope of calculation: Domestic major manufacturing facilities/factories and domestic affiliated companies; overseas, major overseas production affiliated companies.
