What is antibacterial varnish?
TOYO INK offers special coating varnishes that have antibacterial (antiviral) properties. By replacing regular varnish with antibacterial varnish, it is possible to impart antibacterial (antiviral) properties to the package.
TOYO INK 's antibacterial varnish has passed tests in accordance with JIS standards and has acquired the SIAA (Antibacterial Products Technology Association) mark, and can be used for the following purposes.
- Food: Paper containers, soft packaging, and labels for sweets, etc.
- Daily necessities: refill pouches, diaper packaging, cardboard
- Building materials: wallpaper, splash prevention film
- Books: books, magazines

In December 2020, our company obtained the SIAA mark certification established by the Antibacterial Products Technology Association (SIAA).
We will display this mark on labels, films, etc., mainly on cosmetics packages, to promote safety and security.
