Oil- and water-resistant coatings for paper FILLHARMO ™

It is a coating agent that imparts water-based and oil resistance to paper substrates. It is an environmentally friendly product that uses materials listed in the Food Sanitation Act and the FDA's positive list, can be applied to food contact applications, and does not use fluorinated materials or solvents.

Features of FILLHARMO® ™

Adds water-based and oil resistance to paper substrates

• It can impart water-based and oil resistance to paper substrates, making it ideal for packaging applications for foods containing oil and moisture.
• Heat-resistant grade products can also be heated by microwave ovens.
• Some products have heat sealability, and heat fusion processing similar to that of plastic packaging is possible.

Uses ingredients on the Food Sanitation Act and FDA positive lists

This product uses raw materials listed in the Food Sanitation Act, Food Appliances, Containers, and Packaging Positive List and the U.S. FDA.
The grace period for the Food Sanitation Law Positive List System ended on May 31, 2025, and after that, you will be required to use ingredients on the positive list on surfaces that come into contact with food, but you can use FILLHARMO ™ with confidence.

No fluorinated materials or solvents

We do not use fluorinated materials, and we can also comply with fluorine-free compliance with PFAS regulations.
In addition, water is used for ingredients other than resins and additives, and it is a non-hazardous material that does not contain solvents.

Applications

It is ideal for food containers and wrapping paper. In addition, it is also used for non-food applications such as paper bags.

By changing the composition from PE laminated paper (solid weight 8 g/㎡) to FILLHARMO ™ ︎ coated paper (solid weight 3 g/㎡), the amount of plastic used can be reduced.
