artience group received the Energy Conservation Center Chairman's Award in the Energy Conservation Case Category of the 2024 Energy Conservation Awards in recognition of the "thorough energy-saving activities at the mother plant through inter-group collaboration" at the TOYO INK CO., LTD. Saitama Works.

The Energy Conservation Grand Prize is sponsored by the Energy Conservation Center and recognizes outstanding energy-saving initiatives implemented by businesses and workplaces that serve as a model for others, as well as products and business models with excellent energy-saving.

artience group is making progress in energy conservation within the Group in order to achieve its sustainability vision ASV2050/2030 TOYOCHEM CO., LTD. Positioning the Kawagoe Works as an "energy-saving consulting organization" and consuming a large amount of energy within the TOYO INK Saitama Works, We have been promoting activities to horizontally deploy the Group's energy-saving knowledge.
At the Saitama Works, we used BI (Business Intelligence) tools to utilize buried data and established energy-saving activities with the participation of all employees. As a result of the elimination of a large amount of energy loss, the energy consumption (crude oil equivalent) and CO2 emissions of the Saitama Plant as a whole were reduced by 1,982 kL and 3,484 _t-CO2 compared to FY2020, and the energy consumption rate improved by 13.4%.
In recognition of these efforts and energy-saving achievements, artience Co., Ltd., TOYO INK Saitama Works, and TOYOCHEM Kawagoe Works received a joint award.
