artience group Awarded Gold in the PRIDE Index 2024, the highest ranking

On November 14, 2024, artience Co., Ltd. President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and Group Companies in Japan, TOYOCOLOR CO., LTD., TOYOCHEM CO., LTD., TOYO INK CO., LTD., and TOYO VISUAL SOLUTIONS CO., LTD. received the highest gold award in the PRIDE Index 2024, which evaluates LGBTQ+ initiatives in the workplace. This is the third consecutive year that we have received the Gold Award since our first award in 2022.

artience group has been engaged in activities to promote diversity, such as the establishment of "Guidelines for Deepening and Supporting LGBT Rights" and the introduction of the "common-law marriage and same-sex partnership system."
In FY2024, in addition to holding regular study sessions to promote understanding of diversity among ALLY* members and to expand the circle of ALLY, we also held a seminar inviting external lecturers during Pride Month in June, and created and distributed stickers to ALLY members within the company. In addition, we endorse the "Declaration of Equal Support for LGBT Emissions through Business," which aims to realize a society in which everyone can live in their own way and work with equal treatment, and are working to further promote diversity within the company, led by the DE&I Promotion Office.

ALLY: In general, it refers to people who understand and support sexual minorities, and people who want to support them, but artience group positions it as "people who understand and are on the side of all differences."

About the PRIDE index

The PRIDE index was formulated by the voluntary organization "work with Pride" in 2016.
This is an evaluation index for initiatives for LGBTQ+ and other sexual minorities in the workplace.
The PRIDE Index consists of the following five indicators, which are rated on a three-point scale: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

1. Policy (Declaration of Action)
2. Representation (Participant community)
3. Inspiration (awareness activity)
4. Development (HR system/program)
5. Engagement/Empowerment (social contribution/external relations activities)
