Continued selection as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index ESG investment indices

artience Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has been selected for inclusion in the FTSE Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, two leading indices for ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investment.

These indices are based on FTSE ESG ratings, which measure the performance of companies with excellent ESG practices and disclosures, including climate change, supply chains, human rights and communities, corporate governance and anti-corruption, by global index provider FTSE Russel. This index is for Japan companies. These indices have also been adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), one of the world's largest institutional investors in Japan's pension management and management, and are widely used to create and evaluate various sustainable investment funds and other financial products.

We have been selected for the FTSE Blossom Japan Index for the second consecutive year since our first selection in 2023 and for the third consecutive year since the inception of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index in 2022.
Currently, the Company has been selected for inclusion in all six of the following ESG investment indices (domestic equities) adopted by the GPIF, including these two indices.

• FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index
