Selected as a component of the “SOMPO Sustainability Index”

artience Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has been selected as a constituent of the Sompo Sustainability Index, which is used for Sompo Asset Management Co., Ltd.'s "Sompo Sustainable Management" for the ninth consecutive year.

Sompo Sustainable Management is an investment product that focuses on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). This product has been adopted by multiple pension funds and institutional investors by building a portfolio that follows the Sompo Sustainability Index, a proprietary active index comprised of approximately 300 stocks with outstanding ESG initiatives, and is managed with the aim of long-term investment.
The constituents of the index are reviewed based on the results of annual ESG surveys (annual questionnaires, interviews, and confirmation of public information). Once again, our ESG initiatives have been highly evaluated, and we have been selected as a constituent of the index for nine consecutive years since fiscal 2016.

Based on the management plan artience 2027/2030 "GROWTH" that started in January 2024, artience group aims to be a corporate group that contributes to the realization of a society where people can live fulfilling lives by creating value that resonates with the senses. Under the new medium-term management plan artience 2027, which was launched at the same time, we are promoting business portfolio reform by transforming into existing high-profit businesses and creating strategically focused business groups, as well as reforming our management foundation with a focus on organizational and human resource management and cash flow management, which will be the starting point for transformation.
