Obtained "Platinum Kurumin Certification" as an excellent childcare support company
TOYO INK (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) received "Platinum Kurumin Certification" from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare on August 31 in recognition of its efforts to balance work and childcare.
Platinum Kurumin Certification is based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support the Development of Next-Generation Children, and recognizes companies that have achieved a higher standard of initiatives from among those that have obtained Kurumin Certification as child-rearing support companies, and promotes continued efforts. This is a system for doing so.
To support our employees' work-life balance, we have established systems such as childcare and nursing care support, remote work, and flextime. In 2022, in order to encourage male employees to take childcare leave, we introduced a rule that requires them to take at least 10 days in principle, and the rate of childcare leave taken by male employees in fiscal 2022 reached 92.7%*. Additionally, in order to create an environment in which women can demonstrate high performance and play an active role over the long term, we provided career development support to employees on maternity and childcare leave, and provided career training for selected women. These efforts have been recognized, and we have now been awarded the "Platinum Kurumin Certification."
The Toyo Ink Group will continue to focus not only on childcare support but also on initiatives to balance nursing care and medical treatment, etc., and will work to create a workplace environment and foster a corporate culture in which diverse human resources can play an active role.
Childcare leave includes leave for childcare purposes
