TOYOCHEM develops acrylic two-component agingless pressure sensitive adhesives that does not require curing time

TOYOCHEM CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director Toshinori Machida, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has developed acrylic two-component ageless pressure sensitive adhesives "EXK 22-183/EXK 22-184" that does not require a curing process. In addition to significantly shortening the production lead time for adhesive processed products, it also contributes to reducing energy costs and storage space.

These adhesive processed products are made by applying pressure sensitive adhesives to a base material and drying it, then allowing a certain curing period to stabilize crosslinking and develop adhesive performance, before shipping or performing secondary processing such as punching. It is common to do this. For many of our general-purpose acrylic two-component pressure sensitive adhesives, we recommend a curing period of 7 days (at room temperature 23°C).
The acrylic two-component agingless pressure sensitive adhesives developed by TOYOCHEM is a solvent-based pressure sensitive adhesives that uses a non-traditional cross-linking system to exhibit sufficient adhesive strength even immediately after drying. Since no curing period is required, production lead time can be shortened, and energy costs and storage space required for temperature control during curing can also be reduced, and the two-component formulation provides excellent handling.
