Toyo Ink SC Holdings Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit against YoulChon Chemical

Toyo Ink SC Holdings Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary company Toyochem Co., Ltd. (hereinafter both companies referred to as “TOYO”), on May 27, 2022, filed a patent infringement lawsuit against YoulChon Chemical Ltd. ("YoulChon Chemical") in the Seoul Central District Court of the Republic of Korea.

YoulChon Chemical manufactures and sells conductive adhesive sheets for flexible printed circuit boards (FPCBs). Based on our Korean patent (Patent No. 1846474), we have decided to, through court proceedings, seek an injunction restraining YoulChon Chemical from manufacturing and selling of such products and compensation for damages for products sold in the past.

TOYO is engaged in the business of electromagnetic wave shielding films, conductive adhesive sheets, and insulation bonding sheets in the FBCB market.
We regard our intellectual property as a major management resource for our business development and will take the necessary actions to protect our intellectual property rights.
