"Incubation CANVAS Program" trial started

Establishment of a program and real space to promote the social implementation of innovations originating in science and technology

In April 2024, artience Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will launch the "Incubation CANVAS Program" (hereinafter referred to as the "Program"), an activity in which players of various attributes from Japan and overseas will gather to envision the future together with challengers who will deliver Japan's excellent technologies and research to society.

This program is based on the idea that in order to continue to implement the wisdom of science and technology born from academia such as universities and research institutes in Japan in a sustainable manner in society and deliver it to the world, it is necessary to have a real space where researchers, entrepreneurs, business companies, supporters, etc. gather and connect with the world. It is an initiative to implement science in society through free partnerships.

In this program, utilizing the 29th floor of "Kyobashi Edgrand", where artience group 's head office is located, we will provide an incubation space for researchers and research supporters free of charge, provide support content for researchers and startups through partner companies, and provide Beyond Next Ventures Inc. (President Tsuyoshi Ito, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will provide the "Go Global Project," an overseas start-up and overseas business development support activity for researchers and research startups. In addition, we plan to organize invitation events of various genres, as well as business matching events and business creation support events in the future.

On Tuesday, April 23, a launch event was held, and in addition to explanations of this program and the Go Global Project, two panel sessions were held: "Creating Innovation through the Fusion of Art × Science" by sPods Inc. and "Strategies for Creating Global Deep Tech Startups in Japan" by Beyond Next Ventures. A total of more than 100 people, including universities, business companies, government agencies, startups, and investors, participated.

The space on the 29th floor of Kyobashi Edgrand, which will be used in this program, will be provided as a place where various events can be held free of charge as a trial period until December 2024. Based on this trial activity, we plan to develop it into an ideal space that reflects the needs of users in 2025.
